Hollywood’s Latest Beef: Kim vs. Taylor

Well, it looks like Kim Kardashian has had enough! The reality television star and her husband, rapper Kanye West, have been at the center of Hollywood’s latest scandal surrounding West’s recent hit song, Famous. The song includes controversial lyrics referring to the pop singer Taylor Swift as West raps, “I feel like me and Taylor might still have s*x. Why? I made that b**ch famous.” After the song’s release, Taylor Swift’s representatives immediately dubbed the lyric as “misogynistic.” expressing that Swift never approved of the lyrics. Swift went on to condemn the song at the 2016 Grammy Awards during her “Album of the Year” acceptance speech.
The Kimye camp, however, told a different side of the story. West took to twitter to explain things from his point of view, stating, “I called Taylor and had a hour-long convo with her about the line and she thought it was funny and gave her blessings.” Swift and her reps vehemently denied this claim, telling Entertainment Weekly, “Kanye did not call for approval, but to ask Taylor to release his single ‘Famous’ on her Twitter account.”
In efforts to defend her husband, Kim Kardashian released video segments of the phone conversation between West and Swift on the night of July 17, sending social media users into a frenzy. The video shows Kanye reading the controversial lyrics to Swift, and Swift referring to the lyric as a compliment. A full transcript of the conversation can be viewed here.

Kacey Musgraves Releasing New Record Soon

Country music singer-songwriter Kacey Musgraves is releasing a new record soon and talked to “Rolling Stone Magazine” about it recently. The album is scheduled to come out in the summer or early fall.

I think that it’s going to be very hard for Musgraves to top her first record, “Same Trailer Different Park”. That was a brilliant record, in my opinion. The title track especially had eerie and beautiful lyrics. All of the songs on the record were catchy and had smart, distinct themes to them. There were no filler songs or vague lyrics.

Musgraves grew up near country superstar Miranda Lambert in small town Texas and was inspired by the older singer’s success. Keith Mann thinks that Musgraves is a more interesting artist since she’s a better songwriter. On the other hand, Lambert is arguably a better singer and performer.

Musgraves tells Rolling Stone that she likes Taylor Swift’s recent record “1989,” but that she never wants to be as big of a star as Swift. She says that she likes her life the way it is and that Swift is too exposed. Musgraves used to be a staff Nashville songwriter and worked regular hours with partners. If she grows tired of being in the limelight, then she could always return to that nine-to-five type of life and write songs for other artists in anonymity.

Check Out A Blooper From Taylor Swift’s New Video

Dr. Daniel Amen wonders, who can get enough of Taylor Swift’s new video? Many have admitted to watching the video over and over again, and now there’s at least one blooper that they can also view. There is a part in the video where Taylor has to crash through the wall, but in real life she did have one fail. Blooper. Taylor was set to crash through the wall, and although she went through, she ended up running into a real wall. There is a clip on MTV news, and you can see where Taylor crashes through the wall that was set up.

When Taylor goes through the wall, she ends up on the floor, and she hits the solid wall in front of her. It’s almost hilarious to watch Taylor fall like that, but at the same time you have to worry about her safety. Taylor said that she was okay, but it just goes to show that even a music video can be dangerous. What Taylor was doing was a stunt, and there are many actors who do their own stunts.

This is one of Taylor’s first acting gigs where she had to do stunts. The video is chocked full of stunts, karate movements, and some great acting. Not only does Taylor Swift do all her own moves, she also brought a ton of celebrity friends to join in the video as well. “Bad Blood” will be remembered as one of Taylor Swift’s best videos ever.

Believe the Hype: Taylor is Bad

The hype was already there, and the fans were in position to see something epic. Taylor had already been promoting the video for “Bad Blood,” and some fans wondered if it would live up to the hype behind it. It did. People can believe the hype about Taylor. She is bad, but she has gone bad in such a good way. The video was a blockbuster styled mini film that told a story.

No one could expect that Taylor would be able to take over the pop world in such a strong way. The single for “Bad Blood” got edgier with a remix from Kendrick Lamar. He was shown in the video, and he had an extensive amount of time on the song. One facet that came as a surprise to Brian Torchin was that there was so much star power in the video. It is difficult to really name everyone that was there when a person sees it for the first time.

There are lots of pictures floating around the web for the video. That is how fans get a real feel of all the stars that came out to support the video. There are scenes with a split image of Kendrick Lamar’s face with the other half of the picture showing Taylor’s face. This was a hot shot. There is also a scene where Taylor gets kicked out of the window by another star friend, Selena Gomez. There are many cool cameos to see.
